Money, Cash, Hoes
I don't post as often as I use to, probably because I rediscovered how dope video games are. Guess I'm making up for all that lost time.
Anyways...
This has happened to everyone, and to me WAY too many times.
Like a lot of people, I don't like carrying around a lot of cash. So as a (safe?) alternative, I tend to use my debit card instead. It's pretty convenient.
However, sometimes this "convenience" backfires.
I can't even count the number of times I've been in a line to pay for something with my debit card and the dreaded "Insufficient Funds" message comes up on the little screen.
Everyone's first reaction is basically: "What the fuck?" or "I thought I had money in that account!" or "I just put in money yesterday!".
But the worst part? The absolute idiot/poor/hobo you look like to everyone else when it happens, followed by the "I'm not poor, stop looking at me" walk of shame out of the place.
This happened to me twice at the GO station over the past two days. Both times I checked my account online and all my money is there. Turns out my card is the problem.
Think I'll skip the convenience from now on and just pay with cash.
Technology sucks.
